Sixteen of America's favorite college basketball teams are still left to compete for the NCAA championship game next month. Although it feels strange not to have Duke involved, many sports books and gamblers I chat with are quite pleased they were eliminated.
One of our posters had the following to say:
"Took a trip back in time to review last year's sweet 16 event. Four of the 16 contestants are returning from last year, with Florida trying for a daily double. Last year everyone survived the 1st round (2-1 ATS) with the exception of GT who had to face Florida in the first set of games. On Sat-Sun UCLA and Florida survived as Memphis was eliminated by UCLA.
This year it is impossible for the four teams to meet until the Final Four. You now have 4 teams with another campaign under their belt, and very hungry. Play on them in the first games? Is there any reasoning to my madness ? (March that is!)"
